After winning in Nigeria five students from Bauchi win debate competition in Singapore.
Five Nigerian students from Bauchi has brought honour to the country after winning a debate competition in Singapore.
The five brilliant student were received by Professor Yahaya Ibrahim Yaro, the state SUBEB chairman.
The five students are; Abdulbarri Yahaya, Hassan Ali Hassan, Hamida Aliyu, Maryam Ya’u and Rashida Dauda.
They return to the country after claiming the winner at the Oldham Cup Debate Championship in Singapore.
Two teachers and the Chief Librarian of the State University Basic Education Board (SUBEB) follow the five students to Singapore after emerging as the first position at the National Debate organised by the office of the wife of the President, Hajiya Aisha.
While receiving the students the state SUBEB chairman, Professor Yahaya Ibrahim Hero said the student did not only make Nigeria proud but the who Nigeria as a whole.
