NDU students fled through forest and river as community clash with management

Women Ammasoma Community in Southern Ijaw, Bayelsa State lock up Niger Delta University after their names were remove from the pay roll.

The women protest and hire a welder to seal the school gate, but later the management reopen it without the community consent.

On knowing, the people of the community protest toward the school gate and the security men have to use tear gas on them.

This later turn to great commotion and student have to escape through the river and forest.

Three people are dead and many sustain injury from the incidence.
