Judge refuse the release of Meek Mill from prison
The judge in charge of the case of Meek Mill has refuse his bid to be released and he will remain locked up for the main time.
The judge, Genece Brinkley, did not give any reason for her decision not to release Meek Mill who has been in prison since November for his probation violation.
Judge Genece has been accused of being biased and have a grudge against Meek Mill.
Joe Tacopina, Meek Mill lawyer told TMZ that, “This ruling from Judge Genece Brinkley simply reaffirms the fact she has turned Meek Mill’s case into a personal vendetta.”
“In spite of the recommendations from the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, which was supported by Governor Tom Wolf, the judge continues to stand alone in supporting Officer Reginald Graham’s perjured testimony as well as his criminal behavior that has been documented .”
Judge Brinkley defend herself saying she has no reason for her to exclude herself from the case and there is no evidence that she ever asked Meek Mill to give her a shout out in any of his songs, as Meek Mill team claimed.
She also said it was his 5th probation violation and he also admit to the use of drug and his failed to stick to his travel protocol.
Mill’s legal team is currently appealing to Pennsylvania Supreme Court in an attempt to have him release.
