Amaju Pinnick speak up on Victor Moses snub by CAF

Amaju Pinnick, NNF President said he is not happy about CAF not including Victor Moses as part of the three final nominees for African Player of the year.

Moses was included in the seven nomination list for CAF Player of the year but he was not included in the final three nominee list.

Pinnick told citi sport that “I am not happy because I feel that Moses should  be part of the last three.

“The only reaaon Mahrez won the award last year was because of what he did with Liecester City.

And Victor Moses help Chelsea to win the League; played in FA cup final and help Nigeria to qualify for World cup. So I wonder why.”

On the final list is Aubameyang of Senegal, Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane.

He added ” I’m surprised. Maybe we should look at other criteria other than Coaches who already have their mindset about who they will vote for.”

“Tell me what Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did last year to deserve a place ahead of Moses. Aubameyang should not be on that list. He’s struggling with Burrusia Dortmund.”
